I’m the youngest of six kids, raised on my grandpa’s homestead near Beaumont, Alberta, Canada. French Canadian on both sides of my family, I didn’t learn English until I attended kindergarten.
My childhood was normal and consisted of making snow forts in the ditches and playing on our huge tree house that my siblings built. I have a large extended family that holds a special place in my heart.
My current interests include reading and yes, I typically read romance. I love golf but I don’t get out much. I love games of all types and like to think I have a great sense of humour.
I love being outside and enjoy listening to the frogs at night and watching the Canada Geese swim on the pond in front of my office.
I’ve held numerous jobs. They include bank teller, lab technician in a plant pathology department, purchasing clerk and several retail positions. I have an expensive piece of paper that tells me I have a college diploma in Conservation and Reclamation, though I’ve never worked in the field.
No job has ever kept my interest longer than two years and I feared when I attempted to write that I would give up before ever achieving anything. I’m happy to say after sixteen years, I’m still at it.
Maybe I simply needed to find where I belong.

What I’m reading: Every Bandit Creek novella, and whatever I can fit in between. Currently that is Ravishing in Red by Madeline Hunter
What I’m most looking forward to: the return of the Canada Geese and the ice melting off my pond
What’s keeping me busy these days: Writing Pirates #4
Favourite board game: at the moment, I'm enjoying WHAT and Perpetual Commotion
Favourite new TV show: Alcatraz and just discovered BattleStar Gallactica on DVD
Favourite hotel in Las Vegas: Caesar's Palace, Treasure Island and The Luxor
Favourite group: I love Country music and the Zac Brown Band as well as Lady Antebellum
Favourite drink: non-alcoholic has to be Pepsi, alcoholic I enjoy a Pina Collada and a Strawberry Daquiri
What I find sexy in a man: his smile, his attitude, confidence without being arrogant. I like nice shoulders, not necessarily a six-pack chest but for sure some muscle and definition. Also, to my daughter's embarrassment, a nice ass.
A typical evening: staying home, watching tv or playing games with my girls.
What I wish for my girls: that they experience life. That they dream big and strive to achieve their goals, that they value themselves as much as their parents value them. That they realize they never need to be anyone but who they are.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand-chocolate in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, WOO HOO—What a Ride!”
